Lettings Department

Middletons are looking for a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic person, to work in our busy Lettings department, based in our town centre office.  We expect the successful candidate to be able to manage their time and carry out to the many daily duties that happen in a busy lettings office.

 

Duties including but not limited to.

Carrying out inspections, inventories and check outs, plus maintaining appropriate records.

 

Attending valuations and preparing marketing material for new and readvertised properties.

 

Property Maintenance - liaising with both landlord and applicant and updating records accordingly.

 

Carrying out regular reviews with landlords and prospective landlords to build business relationships and increase our portfolio.

 

Preparing landlord contracts and tenancy agreements.

 

Answer incoming telephone calls and monitoring email enquiries.

 

Maintaining our social media presence, to promote our business and our properties.

 

Ensuring that Middletons remain compliant in all areas of lettings legislation

The ideal candidate would come from a lettings background with a fantastic knowledge of the local area.

 

Excellent communication skills are essential, you must be able to offer a high standard of customer experience

 

This is a fast-paced business, so you must be incredibly organised and be able prioritise your tasks to meet the relevant time frames of both the customer and our business.

 

You must be energetic and able to organise your day, while colleagues carry out their own respective roles.

 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

 

You must be proficient in using office equipment such as a Windows PC, printers, scanners, plus other technology which we use daily such as mobiles, tablets and cloud based systems.

 

Ability to maintain confidentiality of the sensitive information you will encounter in the role and comply with relevant regulations such as Anti Money Laundering and Data Protection., alongside legislation specific to a lettings department.
